How We Vet Our Pros
El Paso Roofing Experts is a referral service, not a roofing company. We do not inspect roofs, write estimates or do roofing work. When you ask for an inspection, we pass your request to one independent roofing contractor serving El Paso and the Texas valleys. Our name rides on every referral, so the bar that contractor has to clear matters more than anything else on this site. Here it is, plainly, including what it does not cover.
One Roofer, Not a List
We work with one roofer for the El Paso area. Your request goes to that roofer only. It is never sold, shared with other contractors or sent to a lead list, so you get one call from one company instead of five.
What We Require
- The registrations and insurance the work requires. Texas has no statewide roofing license, so the rules are local: the City of El Paso requires roofing contractors to register, and other towns run their own permitting. The roofer must hold whatever is required where your roof is, and carry insurance.
- At least 3.5 stars in public reviews. We will not refer you to a roofer whose average public rating is below 3.5 stars. A bad job lands on you first and on our name second.
- Still meeting both. If a registration or the insurance lapses, or the reviews fall below that line, we stop referring to that roofer.
How We Are Paid
We may be paid by the roofer for referrals. You never pay us anything, and there is no extra cost to you for the referral. Because the roofer pays us, treat us as a starting point rather than an independent judge of any one estimate.
What We Do Not Do
We do not supervise jobs, inspect finished work or stand behind the workmanship. The roofer does the work and is responsible for it, for its warranty and for any permit the job needs.
What You Should Still Check
- Inside city limits, ask whether the roofer is registered with the City of El Paso.
- Ask for a current certificate of insurance before work starts.
- Get the price, the scope and the warranty in writing.
- Ask who pulls the permit. Our El Paso permit guide explains who issues one where.
- Take your time. Anyone pressuring you to sign at the door is not who you want on your roof.
