Why homeowners call us

The honest option in a noisy market

Most roofing sites hide prices and blast your info to five companies. We don't.

  • One licensed local roofer, not five telemarketers calling you
  • Real written pricing before anyone starts
  • A straight repair, recoat or replace answer, with photos
  • Never a thin coating sold as a new roof when the roof needs a membrane

The desert factor

What the Borderland does to a roof

El Paso roofs are cooked far more than they are rained on. Here is what the climate does, and why a roof here needs different details than one back east.

300+

days of strong sun a year, so UV ages every surface material.

170–185°F

surface temperature a dark roof can reach on a summer afternoon.

~9 in

of rain in a year, about half of it in the July to September monsoon, so ponding and seams get tested all at once.

40°F

day-to-night swings that expand and shrink membranes, sealant and flashing every day.

Flat & Low-Slope

The signature Borderland roof. TPO, modified bitumen, foam or a reflective coating over a sound membrane, with drainage that actually drains.

Clay & Concrete Tile

Long-lived, heat-tolerant and at home on Spanish-style stucco. The tile can last 50+ years, while the underlayment beneath eventually needs replacing.

Shingle & Metal

Asphalt shingle dominates newer subdivisions but ages fast in desert sun. Standing-seam metal costs more and lasts decades longer.

Questions

Questions we get every day

How much does a new roof cost in El Paso?

Shingle replacements commonly run $8,000–$15,000, TPO flat roofs $11,000–$22,500, tile $20,000–$45,000 and metal $16,000–$35,000, depending on size, system and condition. The only accurate number comes free after a roofer measures your roof.

Should I recoat my flat roof or replace it?

If the membrane is sound and the insulation under it is dry, a reflective coating can add years for far less than replacement. Wet insulation or a failing membrane means replacement. Moisture readings in a free inspection settle it.

Why does my roof only leak during monsoon storms?

Monsoon storms drop a lot of water fast and find ponding spots, open seams and failed flashing that stay dry the rest of the year. Fixing it before the next season costs far less than a ceiling.

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. The inspection and written estimate are free and carry no obligation. Anyone charging for a basic inspection, or pressuring you at the door, isn't who you want on your roof.

Will my request be sent to several roofers?

No. We work with one vetted, licensed local roofer, our exclusive roofing partner for El Paso. Your request goes to them only. It is never sold, shared with other contractors or sent to a list, so you get one call from one company.

Are you the roofing contractor?

No. We're a scheduling and referral service, not the contractor. We work with one licensed local roofing contractor, our exclusive partner serving El Paso and the surrounding valleys, who does all the work and is responsible for the registrations, licenses, bonding and insurance required where the work is done. There's no extra cost to you.

How far outside El Paso do you serve?

Roughly a 100-mile radius around El Paso on the Texas side, including Canutillo, Anthony, Vinton, Clint, San Elizario, Fabens and Tornillo. We do not currently serve New Mexico.
